01The belt
Balasore is on the coast, and its groundnut is what feeds the wood press. The oil is unrefined, which means the quality of the nut going in is the quality of the oil coming out and there is no refining stage to hide behind.
Aggregation runs through four Self-Help Group clusters. Four is what it takes to assemble enough volume for a pressing run without a trader in the middle, and assembling it ourselves is the only reason the growers see the difference.
