Not a year-round line and not pretending to be. When the Kandhamal season ends the box stops, and it stops whether or not there is demand left.
The fruit ripens on the tree rather than being picked green and gassed into colour on the way to a city. It costs shelf life and buys the thing people think they are buying when they buy a mango.
Varieties shift through the season and between orchards, so a box is an honest account of what the trees gave that week rather than a fixed specification.
